Who me?

Posted by kelley on Sep 02 2006 |

I’m a girl with goals. An obsession with gardening. A love of knitting. A passion for cooking, baking bread…mmm…

My children and husband are the best and most important things in my life.

I have chickens…yes, chickens. And ducks. They’re beautiful and fun and remind my children that eggs don’t really come from the supermarket.

Hi! I just read your BC blog (diagnosed 4 weeks ago, two weeks out of lump and SN) and am deciding on chemo. Would you please tell me what they offered you on the second round to combat nausea? Thank you so much and thanks for the blog. It helps to grin sometimes.

I just wanted to thank you so much for taking the time to journal your journey with BC. Reading through your experience has given me answers to the unknown. I was diagnosed with Stage III, Grade III, Triple Negative 2 weeks ago. I will do TAC x 3 first and then bilateral mastectomy and then TAC x 3 again. My reconstruction will come later. Again, thank you sooooo much for sharing your experiences.

P.S. I loved your pissed stage. I am there now. I assume it will continue for quite awhile.

    Take care…

    Hi Kelley,
Remember me? I received your gorgeous lace silk scarf for ISE4. As you said you don’t read that email a lot I thought I’d post a message. I just read your last post and I can’t believe you are finally moving to Europe. Wish you & family all the best! Hope all goes well. If you are settled and feel like some tea and cake in London, let me know :) .

You should write a book! Your blogs for the preparation to travel to England was helpful and comforting. I wish there was more here… If you are not too busy, shoot me a line, i’ll be another american in the UK.
